Ralph Johan HANSEN

B. Eng. (Civil Engineer). On Friday, March 8, 2002 at the William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, Ontario in his eighty-first year. Dearly beloved by his wife Caroline, son Stephen (Wanda) of West Bank, B.C., step-daughters Donna (William Zener) of Toronto and Judy Rash of Ottawa; grandchildren Ryan and Tammy. Brother of Roy Hansen (Helen) of Georgetown and Don Parker of Erin. Predeceased by first wife Elizabeth (nee Watts). Loved "Daddy Two" to the Yoon family of Montreal. Fondly remembered by other family and friends across the country. Ralph retired in 1982 as Vice President, Prairie Region, CNR after a lengthy career. He spent the last twenty years pursuing his passion for gardening in Terra Cotta creating with Caroline one of Ontario's finest private gardens. Special thanks to the staff at the William Osler Health Centre for their compassion and care. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario ext 229. A celebration of Ralph's life will be arranged for family and friends in his garden when the rhododendrons bloom in the spring. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the J.S.
