Surrounded by her family on Monday, March 18, 2002, in her 78th year. Beloved wife and sweetheart for 57 years to Al. Cherished mother of Walter Clare and his wife Patricia and of Carol Knapp and her husband Richard. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kelly Dey and her husband Robin; Jake Clare and his partner Michelle Abbott; Luke Clare and his wife Elizabeth and Shannon LaBelle and her husband Troy Robinson. Devoted great-grandmother to Katie and Maddie Dey and to Emma-Rose and Sarah Robinson. Dear sister to Joyce Elliott, Beryl Mercer and Walter and Bruce French all of St. John's, Nfld. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins - in particular Bob French and his wife Diane.
