Suddenly, at home, on Monday, March 18, 2002 at the age of 87. Gerald Roelofs, beloved husband of 49 years of Antonia "Toni" (nee Ten Oever). Loving father of Hank (Nancy), Leo (Maria), Paul (Brenda) and Aggie Schingh (John). Dearest Opa of Christopher, Matthew, Chelsea-Anne, Brittany, Alanna, Jamie, Corey and Sarah. Born in Angeren, Holland, Gerry also leaves behind many family and friends in Holland and Canada. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, at the Aviation Parkway, Ottawa on Wednesday, March 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at Annunciation of the Lord Roman Catholic Church, 2414 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa, on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
