June 2, 1924 - April 10, 2002 Veteran WW II Passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening, Sherwood Brown of Arnprior, Ontario in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Kelley) Brown. Dear father of Christopher Brown and his partner John Clements of Princess Risborough, England and Stephanie (Fred) Free of Orleans. Dear grandfather of Kristin and Shealee. Dear brother of Edmund (Alma) Brown and Stuart (Doreen) Brown both of Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Audrey Labrosse, Venita Daly, Aleda Brown and brother Weldon Brown. Brother-in-law of Dan Labrosse of Wakefield and Verva Brown of Kanata. Special cousin of Vera Nesbitt of Wakefield. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Resting privately at THE BOYCE FUNERAL HOME, CHAPEL, VISITATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. By request no public visitations. A memorial service to celebrate Sherwood's life will be held in Grace St. Andrew's United Church in Arnprior on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Illman-White officiating. Interment of cremated remains in MacLaren's Cemetery, Wakefield, Quebec at a later date.
