Barbara TREMBLEY

FOX, Barbara (Nee Trembley) - Barbara Mae Teresa (Trembley) born May 3, 1932, died December 5, 2008. Beloved wife of J. Donald Fox, predeceased 2004. Daughter of Mary Ann (Marion) and Victor Trembley, sister to Francis (1994) and Joan (1991) all predeceased. Born and raised in Sudbury and educated in Creighton Mine Ontario. Graduated from St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing 1955, University of Toronto School of Nursing with a certificate in Nursing Education 1956 on a scholarship from St. Michael's Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Initially employed at Hospital for Sick Children as a Nurse Educator and remained at HSC in various nursing roles until retirement in 1995. While there, she worked in Parents Personal Service in the latter years. This service provided liaison service to families a distance from Toronto area. Survived by brother Richard Trembley and wife Hazel, several nieces and nephews, cousins Bertrand, Sullivan, McRae and many great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation. 11350007
