Peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2002, aged eighty-six years. Beloved husband of Frances Craig, dearest father of Rene, proud grandfather of Daniel, Kathryn and Stephen; great-grandfather of 6 and brother of Jeanette, special poppa and brother-in-law to Mary (Claude) and Francine (Andre). Beloved papa to Melanie and Lisa. Loving brother-in-law of Vincent and Gail Craig and Bertha Craig. Rene was an army combatant; staff sergeant in WWII. Serving in the United Kingdom, Mediterranean, North West Europe and Continental Europe. Favourite place with friends at Teeples. Memorial service will take place on Saturday, Aug 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 735 Miller Street, Greenfield Park. The family will be present to receive condolences as of 10 a.m. Donations to the Hopital Charles Lemoyne, 3120 Boulevard Taschereau, Greenfield Park, Quebec.
