Aalt VAN BOKHORST

On Monday, October 28, 2002, the Lord took home his faithful servant. He will be deeply missed by his life partner and wife of 51 years Mina (Top). His passing will leave a deep void in the lives of his children; Grace (Hub) Strapper of Russell, Evelyn (Gordon) Dykstra of Osgoode, Ault (Hetty) Van Bokhorst, Maryke (Jim) Dykstra) of Russell, Mary (Jeff) Ritskes and Gerald (Janet) Van Bokhorst all of Osgoode and Tim (Lorena) Van Bokhorst of Mississauga. Dearly loved "Opa" of 19 grandchildren. He always had time to listen and to give a helping hand. His faith in the Lord and his positive outlook on life were an inspiration for us all. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday to First Christian Reformed Church of Kemptville, Clothier Street W., Kemptville for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Reid's Mills Cemetery. Donations made to the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre Foundation, 395 Smyth Road, Ottawa or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Room H2-1, 40 Ruskin Street, Ottawa would be appreciated.
