George Edward HOAR

Peacefully at his home in Ottawa after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, November 23, 2002, in his 76th year. Ted will be sadly missed by his wife Lenore Hoar of Ottawa, and his daughters Diane Bond and her husband David of Canmore, Alberta, and Lee Anne Johnston and her husband John Pomeroy of Chelsea, Quebec. Grandfather of Cary and Lexi. Dear brother of Harold and his wife Eleanor of Oakville and Frank and his wife Eva of Newcastle. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle (exit 440, just north of 401 at the lights; toll-free ) on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. If so desired, donations in Ted's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
