Owen George NORTON

1919 - 2002 On December 24, 2002, Mr. George Norton of Edmonton, formerly of St. Lambert, PQ and Ottawa passed away. George leaves to mourn his loss, Elizabeth (Betty) his loving wife of 57 years, their children, Bob (Ruth) Norton of Winnipeg; Mary Norton (Rob Hankinson) of Edmonton, Ken (Judith) Norton of St. Lambert, PQ; grandchildren Marcie, Derek, Comel, Dean, Kelly, Craig and Chuck Fontaine; Sarah, Rachel and Joel Norton; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; along with the women and men of Central Park Lodge, South Terrace who provided his care with kidness, love and respect during his last three and half years. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. of Garneau United Church, 11148-84th Avenue, Edmonton, Reverend Lorne Heffelfinger will officiate. Cremation will take place in the Foster and McGarvey Crematorium. Interment will be later in the year in Winnipeg. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. The Ottawa Citizen, 27-12-2002
