David E. KAPLAN

On December 26, 2001 in Keynsham Hospital, near Bristol, England, at the age of seventy-two years. Son of the late Irene Berzan and Harry Kaplan. Survived by his devoted sister Joy Davis Moos of Los Angeles, California, and his beloved children Sharon, Mona and Heidi of England. Grandfather of Joshua, Nicole and Aden. Cherished uncle of Howard Davis of Miami, Florida, and Suzanne Davis of Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Montreal he lived in Philadelphia; New York; and London, England. An accomplished entrepreneur, his larger than life personality and business skills dominated and coloured his life. A loving and caring man who had great charm, compassion and courage, he shared with family and friends his gifts of knowledge, humour and laughter. He married three times and was sadly predeceased by his children's mother, Sonia (Sonny) Kaplan Friedman on November 9, 2001 in Florida. He will be remembered, loved and missed by his family members and friends on three continents. Burial took place in Bristol, England.
