ALBERT, Roy J. Passed away at the Blind River District Health Centre, Saturday, May 11, 2002 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Jeannine Albert for 50 years. Dear son of the late Fred and Emma Albert. Loving father of Richard (Anita), Maurice (Roseanne) and Renee Mattaini (Peter) all of Blind River, Denis (Mary) of Pembroke and Jacques (Cindy) of Kapuskasing. Special grandfather of Christie (Todd), Ricky, James, Devon, Raeann, Jackie, Jesse, Patrick, Jenilee, Megan, Brittany and the late Peter Jr. Dear brother of Pete (late Anna), Herbie (late Laura), Marian Belanger (Frank) and Gloria Marinoff (late Edward), all of Blind River, Rita Helton (late Al) of Michigan, Mae Prestage (Bill) of Gore Bay and the late Dorian, Edna Tousignant, Sylvia St. Jules, Ruth Bonin and Elmer Albert. Brother-in-law of Mary Albert of Michigan, Laurence Labbee (Claudette) of Elliot Lake, late Romeo (Pat) of Fairview, Laurie and Percy Whitehouse of Victoria, Geno and Colette Labbee of Sault Ste. Marie, Cecile and Noel Boucher of Timmins, and Robert and Alice Labbee, Aline (late Andre) Gosselin, Gloria and Rejean Denis and Anne and Louis Roy all of Blind River. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Walde, Dr. Spadafora and the staff of the Oncology Clinic, and also to the E.R. Staff at the Blind River District Health Centre. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held Tuesday, May 14, at 11:00 a.m. from Paroisse Ste Famille with Sr. Bernadette Paquette officiating.
