LAMBOURNE, Frank Albert - Retired Superintendent of Customs Canada (Hamilton, ON), World War II Veteran (RCAF Pilot Officer, Aug. 5, 1940 - Oct. 30, 1945), recipient of Burma Star, Atlantic Star and many others. Legion Br. 51 Executive member, Musician (Frank Lambourne Trio), C.K.T.B. Live Radio Performer (mid 1930's), founder & builder of St. Davids Hardware - "Mayor of St. Davids". Gardener - best Dahlias in the Peninsula, however, okra needed work, & Pseudo Chef. Our father and friend, a man of many talents and goodness, passed away in his 88th year, at Bella Senior Care Residence. Predeceased by Pauline Lambourne, wife of 57 years, and dear friend of Lee Beck. Frank's passing deeply saddens his family and many friends. Dear father of Frances (David) House, Lewis (Hilary) Lambourne, Lorne (Joyce) Lambourne, Larry (Marlene) Lambourne, Alice (Mike) Bri-deau, Agnes (Ted) Lesniczek and Frank Michael (Dolly) Lambourne. Frank is survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and was predeceased by grandson David House. Dear brother of Frances May and Dorothy Page. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Resting at the funeral chapel of Hetherington & Deans where friends may call from 7-9 Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday. A Branch 51 Royal Canadian Legion Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. In memoriam contributions to the Ontario March of Dimes or the Charity of One's Choice would be appreciated.
