Elizabeth Margaret Goldstein (née Merrick) April 22, 1915 - May 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Now thank we all our God, With heart and hands and voices Who wondrous things hath done, In whom his world rejoices Who from our mother’s arms Hath blessed us on our way With countless gifts of love, And still is ours today. Children Anne Marie March (London), Dawn (Thunder Bay), Merrick (Leslie) (Shaunavon, Saskatchewan), nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and niece Verna give thanks for the gift of “grannie”, her long life and the legacy of gifts she leaves with us - memories, laughs, handiwork, pearls of wisdom, skills and lessons to keep us grounded and focused. A glorious reunion has begun in heaven with husband John (Jiggs), her parents, a baby brother, Fudd, many special aunts and uncles and a host of friends, most from Chapleau. Let the card games begin. Together Death is nothing at all. I have only Slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, that We are still. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Laugh as we always laughed at the little Jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be the household word That it always was. Let it be spoken without effort. Life means all that it ever was. There is absolutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of your mind Because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, Somewhere very near. Just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past. Nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before … only better. Infinitely happier and forever we will Be one, together with Christ. Keeping with family wishes, no service will be held. A reunion memorial and interment of both our parents cremains will be at Mulligans Bay (Chapleau) at a later date. In lieu of memorials, gifts, cards, food and other expressions of sympathy, share a moment with a great lady. Write, phone or e-mail someone you have been meaning to, organize a closet or drawer, wear some beads, enjoy some flowers or hug a child. JENKENS FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE
