William Joseph FURLONG

FURLONG, William Joseph: (B.A., M.A., PhD. Professor of Economics at the University of Guelph). At the Freeport Health Center in Kitchener, Ontario on Saturday, April 30, 2005, William passed away peacefully at the age of fifty-five. He has left behind his two loving sons Dylan and Liam. The beloved son of Terry and Evelyn (of Montreal), he will be sorely missed by his siblings: Terry (wife Pat), Tim (late wife Anne), his sister Marlene (husband Rainer), and Danny (wife Debbie). He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy. Also grieving his loss will be many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held in St. Thomas More Parish, 980 Moffat Ave., Verdun on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Thomas More Parish from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Feron's Funeral Homes Inc.
