F.E. Valerie BERESFORD

BERESFORD, F.E. Valerie "Dickie" Oct. 1915 to May 2005 Suddenly on Wednesday morning May 4, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Beresford. She will be remembered for her passion for nature and the environment. She spent much of her life communing with nature: digging in the earth and producing beautiful gardens, drying flowers to make pictures and candles to preserve their beauty, painting pictures of flowers with shells and doing water colours at the spur of the moment to capture the moon or the sunlight. Her favourite book was 'Silent Spring'. She fervently expressed her environmental concerns about what Man was doing to the Earth. Her other love was her family who will miss her terribly. Granny will be sadly missed by her daughters; Elizabeth (Jaan Kull), Patricia (Tony Bebbington), and Susan (Brian Remington). Her grandchildren Lisa (Jamie Armstrong), Trish (Greg Lutes), Stephen and Andrew Kull, Christopher, Meghan and Colin Bebbington and especially her precious great-grandchildren Riley, Parker, Tanner and Dylann Armstrong, Andrea and Emily Lutes. Granny will be remembered at a private family ceremony as she joins Papa and grandson Brent. In lieu of flowers, please give donations to the Wild Bird Care Center.
