HOWES, Ruth Alice Peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the age of 104 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Howes. Cherished mother of Joyce (Lee Barns) of Toronto and Jean (the late Jack Kroch) of Ottawa. Loving Grandma of Heather (Mike Francis) of Sault Ste. Marie and Sherrie (Terry Carty) of Toronto. Dear sister-in-law of Hilda Holmes. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased by an infant son Ronald and by four sisters and six brothers. Friends may call at the Winchester Funeral Home, 505 Church Street on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery.
