PETERS, Carol L. The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, on Saturday, December 13, 2008, of Carol L. Peters of Stratford, age 68 years. Life partner of Roy Doherty. Dear sister of Louis Peters (Louise), Betty Lou Munn (Barry) and Frank Peters (Margaret). Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Gertie (Gallant) Peters, and by her brother, Vernon Peters. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:30 a.m., then to Our Lady of Assumption Church, Stratford, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Arthritis Society.
