FINALYSON, Florence With her loving family at her side Florence Finlayson passed away on January 28th, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Finlayson of Welland. Sadly missed by her sons Eric (Ricky) of Welland, and Gordon (Myrtle) of Thorold, and daughter-in-law Mona of Port Colborne. Dear Grandma to Debra Gallagher of Thorold, John Marotta, Danny Marotta, Nancy Goddard (Mike), all of Mississauga; Kim Collins (Derek), Debra Lagace (Raymond) of Port Colborne, Tammy Lustri (Phil), Cathy Cowell (John), Bonnie Bourque (Jack) all of Welland. Great grandma to Skyler, Nicholas, Ashley, Marion, Erica, Ayla, Tyson, Robbie, Mark, Ryan, Brett, Shaun and Jody. Great great grandma to Kamrin and Jacob. Dear sister of Laura, Agnes and Joseph, all of Windsor. Florence was predeceased by her son Allan, daughter Marion Marotta, her parents Alexander and Rose Filiault (nee Parent) of Windsor, and her sisters and brothers Leo, Lorraine, Josephine, Rose-May, Rena, Hector and Gordon. She was a member of the St. Andrew's the Apostle Church. Florence was a very loving and devoted to her family and home. She enjoyed her beautiful yard with many hours and devotion to her flowers. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, 827 Main St.E., Welland, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's the Apostle Church. Interment will follow in Doan's Ridge Cemetery. A vigil for Florence will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. If desired donations to West Park Health Centre St. Catharines will be appreciated by the Finlayson family. The family would like to take this time to thank Dr. Kanungo and the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of St. Catharines and the staff at West Park Health Centre.
