RENE, Douglas "Doug" 62 years. Passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 12, 2005. Beloved husband of Jean. Dear father of Anne Marie Rene, Joyce Sousa & her husband Sean Vansickler, Douglas Rene Jr. & his fiancee Andrea. Dear stepfather of Jaycee Hennin, Anthony & his wife Tonya, Marc & his wife Diane. Loving grandfather of Joshua, Allison, Samuel, Austin & Tyler. Dear brother of Mark Rene & his wife Lynn. Dear brother-in-law of Betty Powell, Tony, Michael and Jay Sterling. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Predeceased by his daughter Amanda (1985) and his mother Agnes (1994). Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave. (254-3223) on Tuesday from 2-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Mr. Rene will then rest at St. Andrew's Anglican Church LaSalle (Laurier & Divine) on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 from 9:00 am until time of service at 10 am. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
