Mrs. Dometilde "Tillie" Robichaud January 01, 1924 - June 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Dometilde (Tillie) Robichaud age 81, of Amherst passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Amedie and Emma (Comeau) Richard. Tillie worked for many years at General Electric in Montreal and then moved back to Amherst in 1985. She worked as a volunteer in the Queen Many Veteran Hospital in Montreal. Tillie was a member of St. Charles Roman Church, Amherst and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by two brothers Ross (Elly) Richard of Chateauguay, Quebec and Jimmy Richard of Amherst and many nieces and nephews. Tillie was predeceased by her husband Ernest Robichaud, sisters Rita Pfinder, Edna Carter, Alice Despres, Winnie Taylor and Mabel Kerbrat and brother Leon. Her remains are resting at Campbell’s Funeral Home, (667-9906) Amherst with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst. Donations in Tillie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia
