Ada Christina Hunter At the Garden Home in Charlottetown on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, of Ada Christina Hunter (nee MacDonald) of Strathcona, in her 91st year. Wife of the late Borden Hunter. Beloved mother of Basil (Colleen), Stratford; Doris (Wayne) MacLeod, Stratford; and Diane (Gerry) Gillis, West Royalty. Special grandmother of Lisa Holland. Mother-in-law of Harold MacAulay and Marion Hunter. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary Burke, Ella MacKinnon and Arthur MacDonald. Predeceased by her daughter, Gloria MacAulay; son, Stewart; and sisters, Annie MacDonald and Betty Bascucci. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home, from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Dundas Community Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday, 7-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to the Garden Home Activity Fund or to the Upton Bible Chapel would be appreciated.
