Alice Lillian HARMER

TOWNSON, Alice Lillian - After a courageous battle with cancer, Alice was reunited with her husband Vernon and son Dale in heaven on Monday, February 14, 2005. Alice (Harmer) passed at Sudbury Regional Hospital in her 68th year. She was the loving mother of Garnet (Teresa) of Callander, Cheryl (Richard Major) of Tilden Lake, Ilene (Roger Ranger) of Redbridge, Bonnie (Luc Desroches) of North Bay and Peggy-Sue (Brent McLaren) of Ajax, and grandmother of Brad, Trina, Drew, Charlene, Jacob, Lucas, Megan, Danielle, Vernon, Dale, Matthew, Kira, Collin and wee one to arrive. Alice was the dear sister of Esli Harmer (Rosemary) and Murray Harmer (Jan) of Pevensey and Marie David of Windsor. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 am. Spring interment Powassan Union Cemetery.
