Mrs. Lilian Thiessen (née Martens) August 24, 1924 - June 16, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2005 in Richmond at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Abe in 1976 and daughter Lorraine. Survived by her loving family: 3 sons, Ken, Gordon (Tomoko), Wayne (Betsy); 5 grandchildren, Kristine, Gregory, Alexander, William and Nicholas; sister Kaye (Jake); brother Peter (Shirley), numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Service to take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road. Reception to follow service. Interment, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richmond Bethel Mennonite Brethren Church, 10200 No. 5 Road, Richmond.
