DeJONG, Nicholaas Cornelius Peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2005 in Leamington at the age of 82 years. Loving husband of Wilhelmina (Hooyboer). Dear Papa of Mary and her husband Tom Johnson of Moncton N.B., Agatha Halford and her late husband Chris (2003) of Windsor, Vera and her husband Jerry Roberts of Comber, Debbie and her husband Brent Klesh of Essex, Karen Freeman of Leamington, Martin and his wife Vicky of Kingsville, Jake of Toronto, Ed and his wife Tanya of Leamington, and David and his wife Kim of Leamington. Beloved Opa to 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Annie Opdenkelder of Woodstock, Vera Ruyter of St. Thomas, a brother Kees and his wife Corrie of Holland, a daughter-in-law Kelly DeJong and a son-in-law Alan Freeman. Visiting at the Hammond Funeral Home, 318 Erie Street South, Leamington (326-8423) on Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass from St. Michael's Church in Leamington on Thursday June 9, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington.
