Kenneth James FRASER

FRASER, Kenneth James Of Dundee QC (late of Ottawa) The family sadly announces his peaceful death on June 1, 2005. Born October 17, 1917 to W.D. Fraser and Margaret Templeton, he was the beloved husband of the late Lily McNinch. Loving father of Sheila (Henri Gagnon, Ottawa), Kathleen (Fred Rendell, Ottawa), Linda (Corpus Christi, Texas), Marion (London, Ontario), Margaret (Andrew Hill, Ottawa) and Ken (Melanie Irving, Dundee). Grandfather to nine. Predeceased by his brother Donald. He is survived by his sisters Janet (late John Fox, Calgary) and Doris (Boston). Ken loved his farm and his family. He was the fourth generation to operate the Fraser farm in Dundee. Long active in his community, Ken served as MNA of Huntingdon County from 1966 to 1976. His proudest accomplishment was the construction of the Huntingdon County Hospital. He also loved reading, travel, chocolate and cigars. He encouraged his children to always do their best. We will miss our Da dearly. The family is grateful to Ruby Staveley and Maureen Payette as well as the staff at West End Villa for their loving care. Visitation will be held at Kelly G.S. Funeral Home, 19 Lake Street, Huntingdon, QC, Friday on June 3rd from 7 to 9 p.m. also Saturday June 4th from 11 a.m.. Funeral service to be held at Dundee Zion United Church, Dundee, QC on Saturday, June 4 at 1 p.m. Interment Zion Cemetery followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
