Verna LEACH

WILSON, Verna 12 November 1913 - 14 June 2005 Died peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, Verna May Wilson (nee Leach) in her 92nd year. Former employee Sears (Carlingwood) and "Old" sales office. Much loved mother of Sharron and Gord (Brenda). Cherished "Nan" to Shane and Tracy, Linda Wilson (Jeff) and Janice Brown. "Nana Shorty" to Amanda and Mathew Brown and Jason and Laura Wilson. Predeceased by husband Harry (Shorty), brothers Ernest and Wallace Leach, sister Joy Murray, sister-in-law Marion Leach and son-in-law Norman (Duke) McGuirl. "Auntie" Verna will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. at Richmond Rd. on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment will be at Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
