Mariano "Mario" Benagino Michieli October 04, 1916 - July 02, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Born in Castions De Zoppola, PN Italy on October 4, 1916. Beloved father of one daughter Gisella (Berto) Figroli, three sons Livio (Maria), Luie (Carol) and John (Bonnie). Loving grandfather of Sherri (Clark), Kevin (Sara), Tawnya, Kaleena, Thomas, Craig (Candice), Scott, Tina (Mark), Liza (Chris), Renzo, Silvana (Gianni) Marcello and Roberto. Mario is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Luigia in 1995, daughter Rosetta in 1947, two brothers and two sisters. Mario came to Port Alice B.C. from Italy and later moved to Duncan in 1957. A Funeral Service for Mario will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC. Interment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of choice.
