Dorothy "Dot" Isabell Barteaux March 23, 1920 - July 07, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) BARTEAUX, Dorothy Isabell "Dot" - 85, Maple Drive, Dartmouth, passed away July 7, 2005, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Lequille, Annapolis Co., she was a daughter of the late John and Harriette (Boylan) Clarke. As well as the love of her family, she enjoyed the respect and love of many younger people who came to know her through her understanding and unconditional love and support. It is a tribute to her that many refer to her as a second mom. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed a good game of cards and loved the time she spent gardening. She is survived by sons, Peter (Kathleen), Wayne (Brenda), Ronald, all of Dartmouth; companion, Marshall Turner; sisters, Francis Sheppard, Granville Ferry, Annapolis Co.; Madge Burns, Greenwood, Kings Co.; grandchildren, Steven (Lisa) and Shawn Barteaux, Angela and Timmy Barteaux, Claudine Bully; three great-grandchildren. Dot was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; brothers, Russell, Harry, Edward, George, Arthur, Jack; sisters, Glenna and Jean. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, with funeral service on Monday at 1 p.m., Rev. James Haughn officiating. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Reception Centre. Burial will take place in St. John's Cemetery, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
