CARTLAND, Cardiff. Peacefully on July 3, 2005 in his eighty-second year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Marchant, predeceased by his brothers Cecil, Melvin, Allan and his sister Elizabeth. Dear brother of Dorothy Healy (Frank). He will be sadly missed by his extended family, his niece Linda Smith and her daughters Holly and Tracy, his nephew Steven Cartland (Marg) and their children Anthony and Stephanie, cousins and many dear friends. Special thanks to Dr. Ina Cummings and all those at Le Strathmore for their care, compassion, respect and dignity through Cardiff's difficult days. May he continue to rest peacefully. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bayview auxiliary, where Cardiff was a longtime volunteer or to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
