DROZDZIK, Juliusz Jozef After a courageous and long battle with cancer, with great sadness we announce the passing away of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Husband of 63 years to Janina, dear dad to Ela (Zbigniew), grandfather of Jacek, Margaret (Michael), Matthew and great-granddad to Grace. Born in Poland, a World War II Veteran, Juliusz will be fondly remembered by many friends in England (1946-1956), Montreal (1956-1962) and Ottawa. Retired from the University of Ottawa (Electronics) 20 years ago, he lived life to its fullest. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Hyacinth's Church (Louisa and Lebreton Sts.) followed by private cremation. Most sincere thanks to Dr. Louise Coulombe for her compassionate and excellent care, V.O.N. and Danuta Bielecki. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Hyacinth Mission Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Dziadzia, we will miss you. May you rest in peace.
