Mr. Morist "Morris" Camiel Verhaeghe December 15, 1931 - May 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) Verhaeghe, Morris "Moe" 73 years, peacefully, on May 25, 2005 at his home in Tecumseh. Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary (nee Solcz). Loving father of Sylvia and husband Allen MacVoy; and Diane and husband Mike Connor. Dearest Grandpa V. to Steve, Ryan; Dave, Dan, Kelly. Dear brother of Arthur Verhaeghe (Donna); and the late Andrew Verhaeghe and sister Mary Jane Kriz. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Verhaeghe (nee Hudders) and Nick Kriz; Steve and Virginia Solcz; Mike and Doreen Solcz; Agnes and Roger Marentette; Helen Slavik (the late Bill) and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Morris was the proprietor of the Leamington Cold Storage prior to his retirement from the Ford Motor Company in 1990. Visiting Friday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Teccumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Gregory the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Gary Goyeau will be the celebrant. A cremation will follow. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Fund or to the Diabetes Wellness Centre of Windsor-Essex would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Morris Verhaeghe in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
