Olga Swekla (née Witiuk) October 16, 1922 - September 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Chapel On Monday, September 19, 2005 Olga Swekla of Edmonton, formerly of Vegreville, passed away at the age of 82 years, in the comfort of her children. She is survived by her loving husband, Eli; children, Ken (Billie-Rae) Achtymichuk, Allan (Linda) Achtymichuk, Brian (Sherri) Achtymichuk, Brent (Sharon) Achtymichuk, Ken (Carol) Swekla, Monica Swekla; daughter-in-law, Diane Achtymichuk; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Mohr, Liz (Jim) Elliott, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ron Achtymichuk; sisters, Molly Hauptman, Ann Cholak; brother Bill Witiuk. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to the staff on Unit 17 & 18 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.
