BARROW, Robert John At home surrounded by family on September 7, 2005, Robert Barrow, age 76. Beloved husband of Joan Brownrigg and the late Patricia Ford. Son of the late Frederick Barrow and Doris Brown. Dearly loved father of Kathy (Stephen Droeske), Ron (Ellen English), Scott (Della Drew), Carol (Dave Mattice) and David. Loved stepfather of Jane Brownrigg (Tony Welland), Dennis Brownrigg (Kim Bekkers), Helen Brownrigg and Joe Brownrigg. Loving Papa to Tricia and Shannon Droeske, Tyler and Ryan Barrow, Matthew and Jessica Barrow, Zachary, Alannah, Mikaela and Mitchell Mattice, Sara and Emily Hostland, Logan, Riley Brownrigg, Bridget Kelly, Kirkland and Jackson Brownrigg. Loving brother of Beverley Dubin and Marilyn Gratton Brown. Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law. Bob had numerous nieces and nephews who he was extremely fond of and to whom he was known as The Candy Man. He had a Private Pilots License. He also served with the 17th Duke of York Hussars in Montreal. He was a member of the Manotick Legion for 35 years, the Manotick Kiwanis Club for 25 years and the Boy Scouts of Canada for 35 years. Bob was currently a serving member of the Corps of Commissionaires, in Ottawa. A Mass in Memory of Robert will be held Saturday at St. Leonard's Church, 5332 Long Island Road (Manotick) at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens.
