Joan COULTHART

TOVENATI (Coulthart), Joan, After a short illness, Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Hamilton General Hospital on August 28, 2005. Beloved wife of Leo for twenty years, much loved mother of son Dr. Michael Coult hart (Sandy), daughter Jane Coulthart and son Mark Coulthart. She will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Girt (Donald), her grandchildren Christopher, Jana, Darren and Sarah and her great grandchildren Tanner, Hudson, Bo and Rayne. Fondly rememb ered by several nieces and nephews, many friends, neighbours and fellow volunteers. She retired from the Lincoln County Board of Education as a consultant in primary education and dedicated her retirement to her community, women's issues, children's education and to her love of writing. At Joan's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Instead her family wishes to welcome all who knew her to join in a memorial service to celebrate her life at Trinity United Church, William St., Beamsville on Saturday, September 3, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Women's Resource Centre, Beamsville would be greatly appreciated.
