Lilian Christena Lawson March 29, 1918 - October 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Victoria) LAWSON, Lilian Christena, born March 29, 1918 passed away October 13, 2005 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husband Charles in 1975, brother Alfred Nelson in 2003, and son-in-law Glen Peterson in 2003. Lilian is survived by her daughter Myrna Peterson, grandchildren Dan, Vicky (Bill) Milne, Wendy (Sean) Wallbridge, and great-grandchildren Jade, Eric, Samantha, Evan, and her sister Freda Boyd. Lilian had a green thumb and loved growing African Violets and Lilies. She raised canaries and was an avid quilter and knitter. Many of her family received hand made baby quilts and Barbie clothes. Many thanks to the ladies at the Shoal Centre and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital for their kindness to Mom. Memorial service will be held for Lilian on Thursday, October 20, 2005, at 2:00pm, in the Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC. Following the service a reception will be held in the Sands Arbor Reception Centre
