EGGER, Otto Founder of Otam Steel On Wednesday, March 30th, 2005 in his 71st year, Otto passed away peacefully after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Beloved husband of 45 years to Olga Smijan. Father , "Pa" to Angela and Gerhardt (Kelly). Opa to Mich ael, Kyle, Drake, Troy and Brock. "Brother" to Carl Smijan (Linda), Alan Smijan (Mary Jane), Sonja Harmsen (John), Peter Smijan (Sue) and Irena Gaspar (Frank). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to caregivers, Dr. Ian Stewart, Carol Northcott, Karen Peel and the Palliative Care Unit at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital. Gathering in Otto's memory will take place on Saturday, April 2nd from 10 a.m. - noon at the James Reid Cataraqui Reception Centre (entrance off rear parking lot).
