Raymond Francis MCCARTHY

Raymond Francis McCarthy At Kingston General Hospital on June 24, 2005. Ray was born in the Smiths Falls area June 25, 1926 to Dan and Margaret McCarthy. The eldest of nine children, the family moved to Kingston in his early years. Ray married Ann Ma cDonald and they had one son Jim (Judy). He was very proud of his two grandchildren Bradley and Leslie Ann. After Ann's death, Ray married Mary Jane Walsh. Ray was a great mechanic and also enjoyed playing the piano and fiddle in his earlier years. R ay worked at Alcan for 41 1/2 years retiring in 1985. After his retirement he enjoyed working around his home. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary's Cathedral June 27, 2005. Father Sebastian, Father Gazely and Father McCarthy officiated. Pa llbearers were Bradley McCarthy, Terry McCarthy, Gary Walsh, Bill Leeman, Cam Phibbs and Brian Sudds. Interment of cremated remains in Glenhaven Resurrection Cemetery.
