LENNY, Katherine "Kate" Linda (nee Belisle) 1972-2004 Katherine "Kate" Linda Lenny (nee Belisle) of Nanton, Alberta succumbed to injuries from a car accident at Nanton, Alberta on January 8th, 2004 at the age of 31 years. She is survived by her loving husband and fishing partner Greg Lenny of Nanton, her mother Linda Belisle (nee Popowich) of Sudbury and her brother Ralph Belisle of High River, AB. She was predeceased by her father Barry Belisle of Sudbury. Kate is also survived by her Aunt Joan Addison (husband Stan) of Skead, Uncle William Popowich (wife Jean) of Sudbury, Aunt Debbie Comish (husband John) of Sudbury, Uncle Mark Popowich (wife Corleen) of Walden and many cousins. Kate will also be sadly missed by her God-parents Linda Carry and William "Bill" Gregory, both of Sudbury. Kate was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. She graduated from Cambrian College in Sudbury with honors and scholarships for further studies in accounting. She received her Certificate for Certified General Accountant in September, 1999. She had worked for KPMG Chartered Accountants in Sudbury before moving to Calgary to complete her studies. Kate married the love of her life Greg Lenny on July 26th, 2003. She was working for Malmberg Muth and Co. in High River at the time of her death. Kate loved the outdoors (fishing and camping) and animals especially her two husky dogs, Jewels and Foxy. She will be sadly missed for her loving smile, strength of character and her dedication to her family, friends and co-workers. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday January 14, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. Interment at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
