CHERYL ST. JEAN St. Jean - It is with broken spirits and hearts the St. Jean Family sadly announces our beloved Cheryl has passed over. Cheryl battled cancer till her last moments, it destroyed her body but could not touch her spirit or faith in God. Cheryl was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Cheryl’s wishes are for us to go on, be good Christians and never, not once, lost her faith in the Almighty. She has started her journey and we will all be together in time. Mrs. St. Jean is survived by her husband Fred of Kirkland Lake, her beloved baby sister Charmaine Latimer (husband Andrew) of Oakville who was like a daughter to her, two daughters; Angela St. Jean (husband Ernie Chiechie) of Kirkland Lake and Rachelle St. Jean (husband Jean-Marc Ducharme) of Kirkland Lake, her mother Martha Warne of Oakville, her sisters; Lana Forrester (husband Wolf) of Burlington, Lynne Warne (husband Del) of Winnipeg, her grandchildren; James “Bug”, Lilly, Robyn, Gabriel and Growlie Gracie, two sons-in-law; Floyd Crow and Ed Litwin, her brothers and sisters-in-law; Joan Settemi (husband Victor predeceased) of New Jersey, Bill St. Jean (wife Jean) of Hamilton and Paul St. Jean (wife Jeannine) of Sudbury. Cheryl also leaves to mourn several beloved nieces and nephews throughout the United States and Canada. She was predeceased by her father Robert “Bob” Warne, her sister Sandra Wagner (surviving husband Wyman of Oakville), her nieces Wendy Wagner and Cindy St. Jean, her nephew Paul Wagner, her mother-in-law Lillian and “Poppa” St. Jean. Visitation will take place at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22nd, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wayne Mills will be officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Encore Club after the service. Cremation to take place at J.H. Fleury in Rouyn-Noranda. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (38 Government Rd. West, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 2E2) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
