Jeanette E. Poirier 1953 - 2005 MISSISSAUGA, ON - Jeanette E. Poirier, wife of Alcide Poirier, of Mississauga, ON passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on April 7, 2005 after a sudden illness. Born in Shediac, NB she was the daughter of Simonne Cormier and the late Aquila Leger. She attended St.-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. She is survived by husband, Alcide Poirier; mother, Simonne (Cormier) Leger (Joe Gauvin); one daughter, Linda Poirier, (Dave Skulte), Beachburg, ON; one son, Tommy Poirier, Moncton; brothers, Roy Leger (Rosemai), StAntoine, Omer Leger (Ginette), Jean Leger (Barb), Arthur Leger (Gisele), Shediac, Rheal Leger (Cecile), Shediac River; four grandchildren, Pauline Vautour, mother of Jeffrey, Ginette Babineau, mother of Stephanie, Kayla, Phillip; several cousins and nieces. Remains resting at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, Shediac Bridge with visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be held at StJoseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Monday, April 11, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
