Dennis LAPOINTE

Lapointe, Dennis March 08, 2004 Dennis Lapointe, age 75 years, of Frederica Street, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on March 6, 2004 surrounded by his family. Dennis was born in Jacquet River, New Brunswick. He worked in the grain elevators for many years until his retirement in 1988. Dennis was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Dennis was a lifetime member of the Westfort Prosvita. Survived by his wife Iris, children Jamie, Denese (Brooks), Patty, Terry (Cathy), Randy (Corina), Ron (Kathy), Frank (Carole) and Donnie (Margaret). Papa will be missed by his grandchildren Brad, Crystal, Kyle, Samatha, Jordan, Larissa, Cody, Leah, Nicole, Jeff, Leann, Tammy, Jolene and Frankie and great-grandsons Aidan, Steven, Jeffrey and Brenton. Also survived by sisters Phyliss, Josie and Alice, brothers Jean and Billy and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edmund and Marie Lapointe, sister Yvonne and brother Lindsey. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 10, 2004 at 11:00 AM in the Westfort Chapel (420 W. Gore Street at James) with Rev. Randal Morriseau officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Dennis to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated.
