McGREGOR, Cassandra - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the age of 21 years. Beloved daughter of Russell and Marina (née Del Vecchio) McGregor of Sudbury. Dear sister of Joshua McGregor of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by her Nonna, Evelina Del Vecchio (née Annibalini) of Espanola and by her momma and poppa, Eugene and Jean (née Stewart) McGregor of Sutton, ON. Predeceased by her Nonno, Luigi Del Vecchio. Survived by her aunts and uncles, Wendy Higgins (Bill) of Azilda, Ettore Del Vecchio (Janice) Egmondville, ON, Gilbert Del Vecchio of Toronto, Frank Del Vecchio (Debbie) of Espanola, Luigi Del Vecchio Jr. (Betty Nott) of Webwood, by her great aunts and uncles and by her many cousins. Cassandra was a graduate of Early Childhood Education and was soon to graduate from Developmental Service Worker Program. Her good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loved ones. Cassandra will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, March 03, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
