PORTEOUS, James Barry. Peacefully, in Kingston, with family at his side, on Wednesday, April 6, 2005. Happily married to Adele Robertson since 1948. He was the proud father and father-in-law of Clare and Perry, James Edwin and Kathleen, and Patricia and pleased to be the grandfather of Charity and Christopher Safford, Andrew and Alexa Porteous and Baillie Card. Brother of Janet L. McDougall of Knowlton, QC. In keeping with Barry's wishes, a private service was held in Kingston, followed by cremation and inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Salvation army or to the charity of your choice in Barry's memory.
