Laurette Dégagné Funeral Mass was celebrated by Reverend Yvan Giroux at Paroisse St-Vincent-de-Paul, Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Astorville Cemetery. Laurette Roy, beloved wife of the late Patrice 'Paddy' Dégagné, passed away at Cassellholme Home for the Aged, Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Loved mother of Eugene (Beth) of North Bay, Raymond (Laurette), of Callander, Louis (Lucille) of Corbeil, Paddy Jr. (Lorraine) of Astorville, Aline Chatelain (Rolland) of North Bay, Evelyn Point (Roger) Feronia and Jeannine Lafrenière (Fernand) of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Joe Roy (Rita) of North Bay and Marie Lemieux (Rodolphe) of Copper Cliff. Predeceased by her parents, Vallada and Louis Roy and three brothers, Léo, Eugene (Claire -surviving), Raymond and Robert "Bert" (Patsy - surviving) Roy and a sister, Angela Dégagné (Palma - deceased). Pallbearers were Richard Point, Michel and Marc Lafrenière, Grégoire Dégagné, Pierre and Guy Chatelain and Pat and Eric Dégagné. Laurette will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
