Mr. Joseph Patrick Connolly August 23, 1932 - December 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Salon Funéraire Rideau / Rideau Funeral Home After a very courageous and determined battle, our Joey passed away, at the age of 73, at the Lakeshore General Hospital Thursday, December 29, 2005. Very dearly loved husband of Patricia (Prendergast) who will miss him greatly. Predeceased by his parents, Colman and Mary (Mannion), brother John, his beloved sister, Peggy (Seeney) and brother-in-law Jim. Very dear uncle to Peggy & Jim’s children, Winnie (late Hugh Mines), Barbara (Jeffrey Gunter), Maureen (Robert Johnson), J.P. and many other nieces and nephews. Dear son-in-law of Edna Prendergast and brother-in-law of John & Claire Prendergast, Colleen & Lowell Boran, Mary & John Ebel and Edna & Edward Balawyder. Many, many thanks for the tremendous support and care received from our Lakeshore General Hospital “family.” Special thanks to the very caring staff of the Hemodialysis Unit and the Doctors who treated and cared for Joe over the past few years. His “Angels” Dr. Robert McLeod, Dr. Ibrahim Bounatero, Cheryl Lafferty, SW and our Guardian Angel, Father Brian Boucher. Also many thanks for the great care received from the staff at CLSC Pierrefonds, VON Beaconsfield and Urgences Santé. Funeral at St. Veronica’s Church, 1300 Carson Ave., Dorval, Québec,Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux, Québec (514) 685-3344 on Monday, January 2, 2006 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Ireland. Donations may be made to Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (Hemodialysis Unit) or the charity of your choice. What is a Soul Mate?
