BRECHT, MARIA (NEE MUSSGNUG). Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at the Montreal General Hospital, on Wednesday November 30, 2005 in her seventy-sixth year. Wife of the late Hermann Brecht. Survived by her children, Susan (Peter Cadieux), Barbara, Fred (Andrea Foerster) and Krista. Cherished Oma of Maria, Hana, Greta, Emilie, Michelle and Alexandra. Predeceased by younger sister, Krista. Survived by sisters and brothers. Elizabeth (Helmut Heiduck), Margaret (late Gustel Roser), Wilfried (Ulricke), Helga (Helmut Menzel), Gerhard (Kathy), Otto (Renate), Rolf (Brigitte). A caring friend to many in her Knowlton community and abroad. A celebration service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 24 St. Paul, Knowlton on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 3 p.m., with reception to follow in church hall. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BMP or MGH Hospital(s), Primate World Relief Development Fund or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
