SOUTTER, Colin Donald. Passed away, at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital, on November 19, 2005 at the age of seventy-eight years. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Janet Anne Munro. His four children; Wayne (Khristian), Debbie, Colleen and Jeff (Janet). His eight grandchildren; Matthew, Jennifer, Ryan, Nathan, Evan, Kyle, Megan and Christofer. Don does not need to be enlarged in death beyond what he was in life. He should be remembered as a good and decent man whose tall stature was dwarfed by his strength of character and kindness of nature. He profoundly and positively touched the lives of those who were privileged enough to have known him. His commitment to both his family and career were unparalleled. Beginning as a floor helper and rising to become the vice president of operations, he worked for the same organization for more than fifty years. This was truly indicative of the level of loyalty to family, friends and career. His gentle guidance and keen sense of humour will be sadly missed. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Tom and Florence who taught us the true meaning of friendship. A memorial service was held in the chapel of Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, Saint Lambert on Friday, November 25, 2005. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 12/3/2005
