Catherine DALE

DODS, Catherine Nee Dale Absent from the body and present with the Lord. Peacefully at the Maycourt Hospice on December 10, 2005 in her 93rd year, formerly of Bristol and currently of Nepean. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Born in Ladysmith Quebec, the eldest daughter of the late Henry Dale and Ellen Woods, formerly of Shawville Quebec. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Dods for 68 years. Mother of the late Stanley (Doreen), Ronald (June), Dwight (Jessie), the late Carl Marcus at infancy, the late Lois (David Gray), Jim (Joyce), and Douglas (Sue). She leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Elma Cooke (Lloyd) of Florida and Perth and Roberta Rocher (the late Cal) of Listowel. Predeceased by her brother Carl (Helen), formerly of Shawville, Quebec. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. and on Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 9 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment service to follow at the Norway Bay United Cemetery, Norway Bay, Quebec at 2 p.m. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 12/12/2005 - 12/13/2005
