SYNEK, Roland Joseph Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at the age of 69. Son of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Synek. Beloved husband of Pearl. Loving father of Donna (Mark Kovalsky), Blaine (Joy), Sheldon (Jessie) and Christine (Sean Quinlan). Dear brother of Louise Pelow (Paul) and Sue Allen (Don Lamoureux). Predeceased by a brother Thomas. Brother-in-law of Helen Synek and the late Sinclair Allen. Proud grandfather of Ashley, Alyssa, Matthew, Tamara, Nova, Nicholas, Michael, Kelsea and great-grandfather to Reece. Survived by sisters-in-law Elaine (Don Mackey) and Wendy (Allan Heffler) and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Monday, December 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. Reception to be held at the church hall following service.
