Joseph GOGUEN

À sa résidence, le jeudi 8 janvier 2004, à l’âge de 78 ans, est décédé Joseph Goguen, époux de feu Rita (Cormier) Goguen (2001), domicilié à 65, War Veteran Ave. à Moncton, mais autrefois de Notre-Dame. Il était fils de feu Patrick Goguen et de feu Laudia Martin. Il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Corinne Cormier (Emile) et Marguerite Cormier (Henri LeBlanc), toutes deux de Notre-Dame-de-Kent; trois fils: Patrice, John (Maria) et Antoine, tous de Notre-Dame-de-Kent; une soeur, Rita Caissie de Moncton; un frère, Henri E. (Anne) de Minto, ainsi que cinq petits-enfants, un arrière-petit-enfant et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Une soeur, Girty, l’a précédé dans la tombe. M. Goguen était un vétéran de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et a servi avec l’armée canadienne no 7 district dépôt. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la salle mortuaire de l’église de Notre-Dame. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur de Notre-Dame, le vendredi 9 janvier, à 19h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Heures de visites: le vendredi 9 janvier, de 14h à 16h et de 17h30 à 18h45. She was the beloved wife of Henri Bourgeois, loving mother of Nathalie (Chris Barnett) and Rachel (Sylvain Osborne), devoted grandmother of Danika, and dear sister of Hector (May), Germaine (Pete), Florie (Doris), Eugène, Roger (Rosa), Paul (Bernice) and Maurice (Gisèle). Born in Bronson, NB on March 28, 1925 he was a son of the late Patrick Goguen and the late Laudia Martin. He was a construction worker. He attended Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame. He was a Veteran of WWII, served with the Canadian Army No. 7 District Depot. He is survived by two daughters, Corinne Cormier (Emile), Marguerite Cormier (Henri LeBlanc) both of NotreDame; three sons, Patrice, John (Maria), Antoine all of Notre-Dame; one sister, Rita Caissie of Moncton; one brother, Henri E. (Anne) of Minto; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one sister, Girty. Resting at Notre-Dame de SacréCoeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame, with visitation on Friday, January 9 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame on Friday, January 9, 2004 at 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
